GRANTS & CHARITABLE DONATIONS REQUESTS

At Impulse Dynamics we are committed to improving the quality of life for the patients that we serve by providing novel therapies for the heart failure community.

Our company allocates resources each year to support requests for grants and donations which are primarily applied to support:

  • Educational Grants – for educational activities related to Impulse Dynamics’ approved therapies and related disease states; and patient cardiac device/disease education
  • Research Grants – for investigator initiated research that increases the understanding of cardiac contractility modulation therapy or which demonstrates clinical outcomes that promote optimal patient care
  • Charitable Donations – for fundraisers by non-profit organizations – those with 501(c)3 status from the US Internal Revenue Service – to increase awareness/decrease cardiac disease in the community and to help communities where we have primary operations.
  • Sponsorship/Exhibits – for third-party educational events, organizers may offer exhibit space to vendors. Impulse Dynamics may decide to exhibit/advertise at these events to increase awareness of our products and services

Timeline for Grants and Charitable Donations Determinations:

The Grants and Donations Review Committee meets at least quarterly to review submitted requests. You will receive an e-mail when the status of your submission changes or if the Committee has questions or comments, including its decision to support the request.

Please note there is no guarantee that all of the amount requested will be granted. The Company may reject, approve in full or approve a lower amount at its absolute discretion. Any decision on providing funding for a grant or donation shall not be linked, either implicitly or explicitly, to past, present or potential future purchase, lease, recommendation, prescription use, supply or procurement of the Company’s product or services.

Indigent Care Product Donation Requests:

Donations of devices, components and accessories may be donated in the U.S. for indigent patients where all medical services are provided free of charge to the patient. For requests of this kind, please send an inquiry to:  impulsegrants@impulsedynamics.com

The U.S. Physician Payment Sunshine Act requires medical device manufacturers – like Impulse Dynamics – to report annually to the U.S. government payments and transfers of value made to U.S. health care professionals and teaching hospitals. This will include educational and research grants and charitable donations.
