Jason Spees
Chief Executive Officer
Jason Spees joined the organization as its President and Chief Commercial Officer in July 2021. Jason brings decades of proven leadership in executive roles at Boston Scientific, Preventice Solutions, and Biotronik. Additionally, he was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Biotronic within the practice areas of cardiac rhythm management, cardiovascular intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, diagnostics, and digital health. Before his tenure at Biotronik, Jason provided seasoned direction as Chief Commercial Officer at Preventice Solutions and multiple senior responsibilities at Boston Scientific, including Vice President of Sales.
Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated with academic distinction. He also holds an M.A. in Public Management and Finance from the University of Maryland.
David Prutchi, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
David has been with Impulse Dynamics since 1998, bringing over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and development and medical electronic instrumentation design. Additionally, David has been instrumental in leading and guiding our team to successful outcomes. Dr. Prutchi’s experience includes Bradycardia Advanced Technology for Sulzer-Intermedics Inc, where he directed the design and development of next-generation implantable pacemakers.
Scott Way
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Scott Way joined Impulse Dynamics in November 2021 as its General Counsel and Compliance Officer. Scott has over twenty-five years of practicing law in public and private companies, including over sixteen years of medical device experience in companies such as DJO Global, LDR Spine (NASDAQ: LDRH), and Statera Spine. He has led companies through public offerings, public and private sales, asset divestitures, venture financings, and debt facilities. Scott has built several compliance programs from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on creating an ethical culture throughout an organization. Scott graduated magna cum laude from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas, where he was a Townes Rice scholar. Scott is active in the Texas Hill Country conservation efforts as a member of the Hill Country Conservancy and past chair of the Hays County Parks and Open Space Commission.
Nitsan Mor
Vice President, Human Resources
Nitsan joined Impulse Dynamics in 2014, bringing over 15 years of experience in global human resources and corporate management. She has served in several H.R. executive roles, with responsibility for developing and implementing strategies, infrastructure, and programs needed to build and optimize the human capital management of the business. Nitsan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Rupin Academic Center, an M.A. in Management and Professional Communications from Clark University, an M.A. in law from Bar Ilan University, and an executive MBA from Bar Ilan University.
Robert Fasciano, Ph.D.
Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality
Robert joined the company in 2022. Robert brings over two decades of experience in product development, quality oversight, regulatory strategy, and management to our team. During his career, which Robert has dedicated to bringing innovative medical products to market, he has worked in mechanical circulatory support (Abiomed), interventional cardiology (Cordis, Orchestra Biomed, and Micro Interventional Devices), and imaging (Hyperfine). Robert holds a B.A. in Engineering from Dartmouth College, where he graduated with honors, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Purdue University.
Ishu V. Rao, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Ishu Rao joined Impulse Dynamics in March 2020 following an accomplished career in his clinical practice. Ishu is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist who previously spent 17 years caring for heart failure patients, with a focus on interventional therapies. Dr. Rao received his cardiology training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif., and the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles after completing a residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Ishu’s medical degree was earned at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia after completing an undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University.
